Christmas at the races

We went to the races Friday afternoon, it was lots of fun we saw a band play and the horses racing.

Drama production

This term we did the grinch who stole christmas, I was mr who.  I had a lot of fun and got to show off my dance moves. We all did a real good job.

Decorating the christmas tree

In music on Friday we decided to get into the christmas sprit and put up the tree. I had a lot of fun choosing where to put the decorations. I think it looks amazing. 

BBQ at Yatton park for guys group

Today we had a BBQ for guys group,I ate sausages and meat patties,we also had a gumboot throwing game and made a swing out of a rope,we had lots of fun

coastguard headquarters

Had a great time at the coastguard headquarters with all the guys from Greerton.  We got to have a look around the coastguard boat, and do a spot of fishing after lunch, great day out

3D street art

We stopped and had a look at this amazing 3D street art, even got to meet the artist, the very talented Jamie Harkins. It's all part of the street art competition in Greerton this weekend

AUCKLAND

What an awesome day we had yesterday in Auckland we went to kelly tarltons and saw the big sharks and sting rays then off to sky city where we got a tour of the sky tower 60 stories high! What an awesome day.

Drive in a truck at the quarry

Soccer!

We had our soccer match against Wilrose yesterday. I did an awesome job as goalie and stopped lots of goals.

I built two sand castles , it was hard work so I decided to have a rest...hahaha

Fun times in cooking

In cooking we made chicken fingers from scratch! I cut up the chicken and put it in flour then milk then breadcrumbs and cooked them in a pan of hot oil. They smelt so yummy and tasted even nicer! 

Drums !!!!

I have been practising my rhythm on our drums .....I'm pretty good and I love it !!!!

Cooking group

I have cooking on Monday mornings and we made home made hamburgers. We made the meat patties ourselves with mince, egg, breadcrumbs and onion. We cooked them in the frying pan then put them in a big burger bun with lettuce, onion, tomato, beetroot, cheese, and egg. They smelt, looked, and tasted great!

Fish and Chips!!

We had an awesome outing to The Strand.We took the fishing rods and nearly caught some ...! Then we had a lunch of fish and chips,lucky me !!

Climbing the mount

Yesterday we climbed the mount.  It was a long walk but worth it when we got to the top. The view was amazing.

Te Puna Quarry

Tester day we went to Te Puna Quarry.  It was lovely,we had the perfect day with it sunny and hot.  We got to see a dragon, frog, some pretty cool art work, and an old digger that was used in the quarry.

Basketball game

Yesterday we went to the QEYC for a game of basketball.  It was so much fun, I was awesome as our defence and taking the ball up the court.  Can't wait till our next game

Around he world disco

I went to the around the world disco in Te Puke, I dressed up as a New Zealander.  It was a pretty awesome day, I even won the best dancer competition.

Today I helped to stick the pages of an old book onto some wood....it's going to make an awesome tabletop !!

We have been practicing our ball skills....look out Wilrose...we're challenging you to a basketball match soon !!

I had an awesome time washing the vans ! I like working with my friends,it's fun,especially with the hose !

PIRATES,

Greetings all ye land lubbers! Today I was a pirate with a merry band of men. We sailed to some soggy land afar and battened down the hatches for an explosive game of cannon ball attack. We had made our own cannon balls, pirate hats and swords to of newspaper and I definatley looked the part. We had a round of capture the flag for good measure.

We had an outing to see Olive and her donkeys,I also met her enormous St Bernard dog,Frodo.

Today we went to countdown to buy our ingredients for our cooking next week. We are making hash browns.

I am enjoying my cookery sessions with my friends and have been busy making a book with all my favourite recipes!

Music

Having a fun,loud music session with all my friends....I love to play the drums and shake the tambourine !!!

Yesterday we went to the buried village in Rotorua.  It was pretty cool, we went on a lovely walk and got to see inside the museum and learnt about the Mt Tarawera eruption .  Pics coming soon....

Pottery

Today in our pottery session we made pinch pots.We joined these together to make clay eggs ready for Easter !!
