Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

Retro Party

I had a great time at the end of year party dancing the night away with my Arohanui friends at the Trinity Wharf Hotel. The food was good and I had a blast! We spent many weeks practising the Rock Around the Clock line dance. I enjoyed the folks who came from the Rock and Roll Dance Club in their pretty dresses and cool clothes. I look forward to coming to this party every year. Only one more week left at the Centre.

Chrismas BBQ

I really enjoyed hanging out with my friends at Yatton Park for our Christmas Picnic. It was a beautiful day and I got to play photo scavenger hunt and  talk with my friends. I saw lots of butterflies. I also had a yummy sausage sizzle and a nice drink.

Bird gardens

I loved the birds at the Katikati Bird Gardens. I looked around the gardens with my friends and we wanted to catch an eel.

Thanksgiving

Last week I ate turkey, mashed potato, pumpkin pie and green bean casserole to celebrate American Thanksgiving. I leant about Squanto and the pilgrims in America. I was bored! 😉😆

Submarine

Today in sensory I got to experience what it feels like to be in a submarine. We used the parachute, chairs, Swiss balls, and bean bags to create a submarine. I learnt about how a periscope works by using two mirrors to reflect an image. I could see the submarine and other things in the mirror then I put the parachute on my head and hid!

T ball

I had a great time playing t ball with my friends.

Designer

Today I did a design for a future make up I would like to paint on myself. I chose an abstract approach and used lots of bright colours. This make up is going to be GOOD! 

Spider man

I had fun in theatre art and turned into spider man!

Party time

I enjoyed the costume party on Friday. I dressed up as Spider Man and hang out with my friends dancing to music. I loved the food too!

Drumming fun

Yesterday I had fun playing the drums. I played really loud. I loved it!

Tepuke outing

I had lots of fun visiting the Tepuke centre. I rode the tandem bike around the park.

Animates

I loved going to the pet shop and looking around at all the animals. I saw rabbits, a little excited dog, lots of colourful fish, and a tiny turtle.

Guys Group

I had fun shooting pool with my friends at Worlds End. I sunk balls down and learnt some new skills in my technique.

Jumping up higher!

I had a good time jumping on the tramps and hanging out with my friends in the sponge pit.

Spider-Man's cake

I am busy making the title for my recipe on Spider-Man's birthday cake. Do you like it?

My home farm visit

I really enjoyed hosting my friends at my place in the mighty Waikato on Tuesday. I made my friends feel welcome by showing them around my awesome farm. I showed them the lambs, pigs, horses, cows, chickens and calves. They got to feed the lambs and pigs and I made sure the house was vacuumed and tidy before and after their visit.

Two face

I day Janna helped me to put face paint on so I could have a "Two Face" make up. I love scaring my friends from behind doorways when I have a new face paint. 

Rock climbing

I had so much fun rock climbing, the best part was coming down.

Te puna Quarry

I had fun at Te puna Quarry walking across the creek.

Art mad

Here I am working hard on some colouring in I did at lunch time today. I am so good at using colour and keeping in the lines. I also add special new details and make it into my own.

Foodbank

Busy, busy at Foodbank today and I volunteered to help out !! We put margarine into pots and I chose a Moccachino for morning tea...I deserved it !!

Op Shop

I went to the SPCA Op shop and had lots of fun cleaning toys and pricing them with my friends.

Dress ups

Look at me! don't I look great!!

Rocktopia

I went with the Guys Group to Rocktopia to check out the climbing walls. I really liked trying to climb in the low cave. I can't wait to go back and climb the tall walls.

Fishing

I went on a nice outing to chapel street bridge. I had a go at fishing, it was really fun, we got nibbles but alas no fish this time. next time, we will get one!

Dracula

Today I transformed into Count Dracula, I had a lot of fun walking around corners and scaring my staff. 

Wow

I'm a rainbow! Well, close enough, I decided to paint myself with face paints in the mirror.

Cowboys

I enjoyed listening to the guitar music when the cowboy and cowgirl came to play.

Theatre Makeup

This week I had makeup on my wrist to look as though my wrist had been cut. I washed it off before lunch so that no one would be scared that I hurt myself. Itlooked so real. What do think?

Snake

I has d fun becoming a snake in theatre art. Scary aye! 

Guide dogs

 I enjoyed seeing the guide dogs.
