 We have been working hard on a group art piece to brighten up our walls, this is one of 3 flowers, we are all working on the petals.

Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

Retro Party

I had a great time at the end of year party dancing the night away with my Arohanui friends at the Trinity Wharf Hotel. The food was good and I had a blast! We spent many weeks practising the Rock Around the Clock line dance. I enjoyed the folks who came from the Rock and Roll Dance Club in their pretty dresses and cool clothes. I look forward to coming to this party every year. Only one more week left at the Centre.

Chrismas BBQ

I really enjoyed hanging out with my friends at Yatton Park for our Christmas Picnic. It was a beautiful day and I got to play photo scavenger hunt and  talk with my friends. I saw lots of butterflies. I also had a yummy sausage sizzle and a nice drink.

Bird gardens

I loved the birds at the Katikati Bird Gardens. I looked around the gardens with my friends and we wanted to catch an eel.

Thanksgiving

Last week I ate turkey, mashed potato, pumpkin pie and green bean casserole to celebrate American Thanksgiving. I leant about Squanto and the pilgrims in America. I was bored! 😉😆

Submarine

Today in sensory I got to experience what it feels like to be in a submarine. We used the parachute, chairs, Swiss balls, and bean bags to create a submarine. I learnt about how a periscope works by using two mirrors to reflect an image. I could see the submarine and other things in the mirror then I put the parachute on my head and hid!
